RECRUITING

We are actively seeking qualified new lawyers and lateral hires to join our firm. In addition to seeking the brightest attorneys, we are looking for individuals who, like us, are interested in growing our emerging law firm.

Our lawyers have been trained at national and regional law schools including the University of Chicago, Columbia Law School, the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall), the University of Texas School of Law, the University of Michigan, Georgetown University, Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. Prior to joining our firm, several of our lawyers worked at national and regional firms in some of the largest cities of the United States.

We practice law at the most sophisticated levels but in an environment that is decidedly different from other law firms. From the very beginning, our associates are encouraged, and given the opportunity, to acquire client development and client service skills. We provide our associates with significant responsibility earlier than most other firms. As a result, our junior lawyers receive better training and experience than they would in larger firms. Specifically, several of our lateral hires have come from some of the largest law firms in the United States; without exception, each has noticed a significant and welcome difference from their previous law firm experiences with respect to client contact and responsibility.

We work very hard to service our clients, but we also recognize that work is only one component of a fulfilling life. Our attorneys have a wide variety of interests and work in an environment that enables them to pursue those interests. We believe our firm is very unique in that we genuinely enjoy working with each other, and we value this collegiality as one of firm's most important assets.

We actively recruit for 2L summer clerks during the fall of each year. Our clerks are usually within the top ten percent of their class and/or work on their school's law review.
