
Jonathan K. Hansen practices in the business transactions group at BTJD. In addition to being a lawyer, Mr. Hansen has twelve years of business experience as a venture capitalist, technology company CEO, and real estate investor, lender and developer. His operating and investment experience add a valuable dimension in counseling clients in connection with their business problems and opportunities. Mr. Hansen has led or participated in dozens of transactions involving growth equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, initial public offerings, PIPEs, fund formations, employee equity incentive plans, secured bridge loans, leases, joint ventures, operating partnerships, equipment finance, real estate construction, water rights, and land acquisition and development. He has also served on the boards of directors of seven companies. He has been recognized as a business leader with the v100 award for Utah technology entrepreneurs, and was identified by Utah Business magazine as one of Utah's top 40 business leaders under the age of 40.
